I was sort of looking for video editing software which supports .mkv and .mp4 type video files. I hate to convert them and all the stuff like that. Are there any out there? As far as I know I haven't seen one yet.

there no free video editing software it's a shareware you have a 30 days trial a limited control then after 30 days you cant used it anymore there no freeware but try avs video converter when you convert the video its show ads thats the bad thing.>

Can try virtual dub, haven't used it in a while but remembering editing MP4 files on it.
