Reputation: 31Are they addictive becuause they are fun and develop ingame responsibilities what the player will value very high because they have made friendships within the game?
What are ads? I use Hostsman and Adblock Plus. So, I would not have noticed anything.
edit
If you set up your Hosts file, you not only immunize yourself to malware off the Internet; you will not need an ad blocker.

You can set set up your Hosts file to be over 2 MB of crap blocking goodness with Hostsman:

But, just to go overkill on the random ads Hostman doesn't block you can also use Adblock Plus.

I haven't seen an ad in years. What ads?
It's not affecting me so I'm not mad but I hope they don't start bringing games with fatigue systems over here.
Not that they make shit worth playing anyways DFO I don't mind.
Reputation: 344some games already have them, DFO has it, Atlantica has it (they call it 3x xp and drop for first 100 fights then "back to normal rates")
Why is Korea banning all night gaming? That's silly! If it keeps kids off the streets and in their homes then **** let them do what they want with their parents supervision.
The government needs to stop trying to raise peoples kids! And damn this Nerd hate! DAMN IT TO HELL! Hmm I wonder if the Korean Suicide rate will go up due to this.
Disclaimer: Hey Gaiz I'm nice don't flame me pleeze.
She knows how to party.

Reputation: 198DFO IS a good game...just that western version is littered with bots and gold spammers~ like any free western mmorpg out there...sad really.
@Groteske
and if the government does not stop all-night gaming, it would be up to the parents to reinforce a limit on their children~ but if that were the case, the government wouldn't have to even set up a limit like that in the FIRST place...see the loophole here?
and nah, Korean suicide rate won't go up just because kids can't play games...if addiction to gaming is what I believe it is, then suicide rates will go up IF kids are left to play games to their hearts' content. If gaming is restricted, they will find other methods to get around it or look for different entertainments. (I wonder if, with this, the sale of console systems will go up in Korea?)

Onto the topic, traditional ways of life run deep and those numbers were bound to pile up high enough not to be ignored.
