I saw an asshole selling these in the mall around Christmas time. I had to fight my way through a crowd of like 200 people just to see what it was.

I was ****ing disgusted once I finally saw what they were selling.

These things are extremely cute - yes...but they aren't meant to be pets. And, if you get ONE, you really need to get two. They are group animals and get very depressed when they are on their own. They are very nocturnal (hence their eyes) and taking them out into the light is horrible for them.

They are a prey animal, and are generally scared of people...and he was just passing it around like some kind of super friendly puppy.

Finally, they can't control their bladders. They pee whenever they need to...subconsciously. Its beyond their control and is 10x worse smelling than cat piss.


I'm sorry to post all this in here. Yes, they are super super super cute, and yes, it would be fun to play with one...but it just pissed me off sooooooooo much when I saw that guy selling them in the mall. > The one in your video looks like its properly taken care of though <3 :] It has the right size cage and everything.

I hate when people fail to see what pets are.

Some pets just can't be used as cute things in the house.

Cats/Dogs/Hamsters, are alright, but animals like these :/.
