Due to this fact in the title,i will be moving to XP or wIN 7

mostly i will be playing games on it,but obviously doing the other simple stuff

so which to move to XP or WIn7?i prefer XP ...but want your choice

and also,can anyone pm me a place to download XP for free and safely and some instructions for installation would be helpful..

also is it safe to change OS or unsafe on a laptop?

Finally how long does it usually take for the PC to get back to normal standards after a OS change?meaning how long it usually takes you to reinstall everything etc.?

all i gotta really fix is my bookmarks,install Taikodom and Teamspeak 3 and Teamspeak 2 hehe

My laptop had Vista on it before and i switched it Win7. I love 7 because of the looks and all. If youre thinking of switching OSs, i recommend you dont upgrade, make a clean install.

Windows 1, lowest requirements ever. But like my post above said, I don't support piraters, therefore I won't help you out on that one. My post is still useful though, as I stated a fact.

Windows & is better because of the support for directx 10 and 11 and all the updates for software and drivers.

I have modded my OS (windows 7) to only take up around 284 mbs of RAM when on idle.

• Memory: 1GB
• Graphics card: DirectX 9.0 capable
• Graphics memory: 128MB (for Windows Aero)
• HDD free space: 16GB

I got 2.3 GHZ,3 GB Ram,GEforce 8200 G M,enough HDD space and not sure about graphics memory but that should be good too

There really is no link to show.

I just took things out and disabled the services I didn't need.

All my games work on it.

I am running windows 7 ultimate 32bit on a 4 year old laptop.

Intel Celeron 420 1.6 ghz
1 gig of DDR2 667 mhz RAM
Intel GMA 950

It's a non gaming laptop and it runs windows blazing fast and all the games I have tested worked.

I have tested over 100 games too, old and new.
