Yeah, I am following a guide online on how to make it run smoother on faster machines with Windows 7. Can't wait to start playing it again, extremely excited.

That game is really really good! I remember beating that on my psx.
My favourite game in that category is The longest journey though. If you haven't played it, then please get it NOW!

    Ontopic:

I just started up Baldur's gate II Also I've played the good old point & click games with ScummVM, and also a bunch of NES and SNES games.

That may not seem like a very powerful statement, but the amount of excitement I get when someone else says that they have played PS:T is incredible.

QFT. I too highly recommend Planescape: Torment. It is a relatively unknown game, released in 1999, but it definitely is one of the better, if not best, isometric games I have ever played.

I would even go as far as to say Planescape: Torment > Both Fallout 1 and 2.

I've never given Planescape: Torment a fair chance, but only heard positive things about it. I got the 2CD version on my HD. Maybe I'll install it and give it a go

I got it working well on my brother's Windows 7, but unfortunately I couldn't get the Full Install trick to work.

Still, if you can, get Qwinn's Unfinished Business mod. And also the Tweak and Fixpack which fixes lots of bugs and adds things like Increased Bantering (which was, from a fault of the developers, originally set to 24 hours which was not nearly enough time to experience any of the banter since the game is only like 25 hours long.)

My favourite game in that category is The longest journey though. If you haven't played it, then please get it NOW!
Yes, excellent game. I beat that and searched around looking for more games like that, and found out about Broken Sword and Monkey Island.

Ugh I hate that game so much....... It's more like Planescape: Bullshit.

But yeah it bugs out a lot on newer systems and that really killed it for me. Best old rpgs are on the SNES.

    She knows how to party.

Yeah, playing it now with all the important mods and fixes. Remembered the Mortuary level by heart and all the little secrets. Although I accidentally used the bone charm without realizing, so I missed out on 500xp. I don't remember much about the Hive, should be fun.

I have the 4 disk set Xeno, even if you copy the BIF files and change the ini file appropriately. You still have to have the second disk in for the full install to work; copy right laws.

Other older games, when I was a little kid, I'd play a pretty sweet side scrolling action game called "King of Dragons," for the SNES; beat it with the Warrior and Wizard.

    Edit: Guide I followed - http://thunderpeel2001.blogspot.com/...ly-modded.html
Also if you have gotten a newer video card in the last decade, I'd get this http://www.shsforums.net/topic/43616...ther-ie-games/ or spell animations will make the game lag so bad you can't play it.
