I guess the weapon system they are putting in will still allow you to do something of that nature, if you equip a sword (or daggers, my fav IW weapon to use).

I can see where the new system compliments getting rid of the old one. And now that they can make each profession even more complex with stance changes and attunements or not, I don't think I'll miss Secondary prof's that much.

Whoever uses this in anything, whether Pve or PvP, would get killed faster than a mosquito in a flame pit... <_<

Should be alright, wish they'd show actual gameplay though kind of interested to see how the UI works and how the combat/animations flow together.

Im so tempted to play number one for unlocks and stuff so i can start number two a lil more advanced than a level one, but i can never find a good class/good people to play with.

Also i remember reading a while back that they might be removing the world instances [which is good/bad] dunno if they are still thinking of doing it but for good/bad reasons it would be cool to be able to toggle it.

    New races <3

Didn't like the cast time too, doesn't really matter in GW1 since you can hire NPC mercs as tankers. Will be hard in GW2 if its soloing.

Eh...GW1 also has some long casting times, that didnt bother me over the past 4 years...
I dont blame you, not everyone is fit to play GW.

GW does not want to be a MMORPG. It was the MMO-like game for people who hated the conventions about MMO like Time>Skill, Time Investment, Grind, Money Sink, Time Consuming and so on...

I am much more excited about Guild Wars 2 than Diablo 3. I will say that much, now that we're talking about Online RPG's.
It annoys the hell out of me that I am forced to play from an Isometric point of view and am unable to create a character in Diablo 3. I want to play a Barbarian, so I have to play as some Old White haired dude type character?:/

    Nah. That's not for me.

Well, it's not 100% instanced anymore, so mobs arent as strong.
You'll have an open world with spawning mobs, so no vanquishing and such.

Iirc, they are towards more of a RPGMMO in GW2, instead of MMO.

I dont know why anyone has doubts that this game will be anything awesome.

Arenanet really know their stuff and have a great direction.

MMOs are social games. So why do they sometimes seem to work so hard to punish you for playing with other players? If I’m out hunting and another player walks by, shouldn’t I welcome his help, rather than worrying that he’s going to steal my kills or consume all the mobs I wanted to kill?
ArenaNet is one of the few companies I actually put my faith into, lol

FINNALY an MMORPG that actually uses graphics past 2005 quality, look's like it will definately stress some of the pre 2009 machines. The graphics and animations are just brilliant, that static field spell look's fantastic.

High hopes for this, guild wars was my first "proper" MMORPG

Knowing a-net, It wont "Stress" The machines.
As A-net makes it a priority to make their games playable on older machines aswell, while keeping good quality (Graphics wise) For the higher end machines.
