    Default Perfect World

So after watching the new video released from Perfect World's latest expansion,

I remembered I gave PW a try (a year ago) and ended up finding other things to do.

Wanted 2 know from my fellow ONRPG'ers:
Has PW really improved in any significant way.

    Hows the community/population in general.

Should I NOT be getting so excited about PW. (trailers have a way w/ doing that to me)

    Thanks

Well, I play Perfect World every now and then... Level 35 Barbarion, only a small amount of hours logged, Blademaster level 65, and Assassin level 23.

What did you think Perfect World needed to work on? The Cash Shop making PvP unbalanced, the grind at mid game, imbalanced classes?

If anything PW hasn't changed much at all. Sure they threw in two new classes, and expanded SOME of the content, but sadly you are still grinding your butt off and attempting to compete with people that shelled out about twenty bucks and have the perfect set of gear.

As for trying out the newest classes, the game is so worth it. I love the Tideborn, and I really love the new starting area, the landscaping is amazing. If just having a couple of new classes is enough, then I suggest jumping in, but if you are looking for less grind, more end game content... Look elsewhere.

Perfect Worlds population is still quite large, and you will always find new players appearing, as well as guilds looking for members. You will always find people shouting for a party to run an instance, and a lot of the older players are willing to go out of their way to help you out. A guy crafted me all the armor I would ever need up to level 40 with stat boosts along with it all (This even included helmet and cape), when I first made my barb.

So do I think it's worth playing, yes. Will you think it's worth it? Well you'll just have to log in and find out haha.

I dont really play Perfect World anymore as i dont have the time, but as soon as i find myself wanting to play an mmorpg, Perfect World will be my first choice. I really like the atmosphere and feel of the game, customisation, big map, friendly community. Yeah its good.
