2moons symbols?!

Okay, so today I downloaded, installed and patched(attempted to)
But suddenly, whilst patching I came across a strange error consisting of strange symbols including upside down question-marks, and letters with 'squiggly' marks over them.

I'm not sure what this error is, or why it's happening, any help would be much appreciated. I've heard great things from 2Moons.

Is there manual patching available ? If not its most probably a corrupted client download. Re-download it into another folder.

It seems like you downloaded dekaron, the EU version of 2moons. If you're not from EU, you'll need to download the NA/outside EU client.
The error message might have something to do with the IP block.

I downloaded this from the www.2moons.acclaim.com website. I'm Australian, and downloaded. Upon further inspection.

GameHi's version is the Global one I think. The original EU server got absorbed by it too.

the error is probably in a asian language, but if u dont got the language pack enabled it shows symbols so nobody can tell what it says. maybe 'connection lost with server' or something lol

Yes, its most probably because he registered before the IP block was active. Either you check Acclaim's forums for more details of the IP block, or you can download the game again.

Edit: I checked, apparently there was is no IP block. Might wanna re-download the game into a different folder again.

Yes, there was a period where they IP blocked, but it was a mistake.

From a Moderator:

If your account was before the IP block, your fine. It was just on registered accounts.

Also I think the IP block was removed, I'll have to get back to you on that.

Download the game from Game hi site and then log in to SIZ server and you will be on the same server as you Acclaim friend. Acclaim doesnt have anything to do with Dekaron any more they are just here to support (their support means selling ur account to gold selling sites lol) old accounts. Any new player must make an GH account.
