im actually hoping for a eve clone. but one where u dont need to be on the tip of your chair 24/7 afraid ur ship u worked so hard for gets blasted to smithereens but if they really want to do something epic they should combine it with a FPS aswell, like going to some planet for a mission to pick up a npc. landing and assoon ur out it swaps to a fps. ofcourse there gotto be some real ugly/strange aliens to blast trough (or going inside buildings and epic looking structures) before u can rescue the npc and leave the planet again.yeah i can see it all before me... if they could manage something like that they got theirselfs a instant-all-mmo-killer lol

edit: or if your against violence you could go to planets to actually create life maybe, a bit like Spore but in a more mature way. (pretty much what iron said :P)

Yah I could imagine a mission copying Starship Troopers where you and your group had your ship shot down and must defend each other in a base while alien bugs keep crawling towards you.

I have been following this game for the last couple of years.

It's going to be a P2P MMO, with skill based combat, for all that care.

I thought it would be cool to be an MMO.

And you should be able to get off your ship and explore the lands.
Each player should be able to build their own stuff and colonize a planet.

Then they could build up an army and have others join their group to fight off any invaders.

If a game like this ever had a large population you could make it huge with lots of planets, solar systems and galaxies.

You could build trade routes and form alliances with other planets for specific goods.
You could create your own materials and trade them with others.

So basically my dream would be to have a complex space society in a game.
Exploration would be rewarding when discovering new planets.

There could be things like super novas, solar flares, black holes and many other things that could make it dangerous.

Also each planet could have it's own temperatures, atmosphere, chemical imprint and other things to take into account. So you may have to terraform the planet or build an enclosed city.

Of course all these ideas are probably more than a decade away from being put into a game.

It is an MMO... At least that's what their site gives the impression of.

Persistent universe: Infinity is a massively, multiplayer online game. The universe is completely persistent. When you are not playing online, the game does not stop. Other players continue to play, your characters actions within the universe continue to evolve, and new things are always happening 24h/24.
