C-walk music suggestions?

I've been interested in learning how to c-walk, but i don't really know of any good songs to c-walk to, since im not really into its genre.

Any suggestions are appreciated! thanks guys!

The music doesn't really matter.. Usually yeah you listen to hiphop beats. Depending on the speed you're gonna c-walk is what matters.

It's a form of dancing that Crips usually did back in the 90s. It became more mainstream and popular when the 2000's hit. Real gang members usually react negatively towards it.

At a certain point, something that might have been initially gang-related may evolve into something totally different and divorced from its gang roots. I don't think c-walking has come to that point yet. It's called crip walking. You spell out the word crip with your feet while dancing. That's pretty much gang-related. You won't catch me walking down the street in Compton doing that. Then again, you won't catch me being anywhere near Compton, ever. I once stopped there to get gas pretty late at night without realizing where I was, and I was scared shitless.

That being said, if you're c-walking for fun with your friends or at a school dance or something I don't think you have anything to be concerned about. Tons of kids do it on youtube and to my knowledge none of them have been killed by gang members. Embarssingly enough, I used to do it too in high school. Thank God they didn't have youtube yet, I probably would have uploaded my vids.

Clown walking dance is called C-walking end of story. You can't say otherwise because that is actually the name.
The dancer is not representing gangs because C walking steps today do not spell out words or use gang symbols. If you do not do do those two CORE things, then its not the crip walk.
If I walked backwards and called it the moonwalk, is it the moonwalk?
You cannot foxtrot without the steps.

You're representing the moonwalk, though. Obviously this point is lost on you. You don't get the inherent similarities.

I never said the dancer is representing gangs because they are trying to act like a Crip. They may not consider what they're doing to be Crip walking, but the point is that it's not so different that it's completely separate. It even has a similar name, which people CHOSE. So you have no right to complain.
