Cops raid guys house and shoot his dogs.

Thought this would make for an interesting discussion.

Apparently they got a tip that he was dealing so they raid his house in the middle of the night. Why they shot the dogs I'm not sure, one was a Pitbull (in a cage) and the other was a Corgi (wtf?)

Actually all they found was a little pipe with some resin and a small amount of marijuana so, uhh, good job I guess?



If you like dogs you might not want to watch the video, I'm not an animal person and it even got to me a little.

that was absolutely heartbreaking when the guy realized they shot his dogs. I hope the police found it just as easy to explain to the little kid why they killed his dogs as they did to pull the trigger.

That's pretty sad. I remember that happening in our house before. My older brother was a drug dealer, and a swat team broke into our house.

I'm not sure if the dog was in a cage or not. At the end of the video, the guy said '' it was a nice dog, he was probably trying to play with you.'' which would imply the dog was out of the cage, running towards the police.

Pitbulls get a bad rep it's not even funny when it's really peoples fault. I don't understand what makes you shot a caged dog though. They just saw the fact it was a Pitbull and reacted cause of the barking I guess.

It would be cool if millions of people all together started growing it.
It's not like they could send everyone to prison.

They didn't shoot the corgi? I saw the dog walk by and an officer said "leave the dog alone." Also who cares if its the kid's pet or the man's pet? Its in the house.

They knocked because they're required to do so. When executing a search warrant, officers are required to "knock and announce." If no one comes to the door after about 30 seconds then they're allowed to break it down.

I also understand the whole "why do we care about drugs" argument, but that's a silly reason to call the police dumb. They're upholding the laws passed by the legislature that you all elected. So it's not the police's fault.

They shot both dogs, but only the one in the cage died. There was no reason to be firing shots around in the first place, there was no threat. I don't care how good their aim is you don't walk into someones house and start shooting for no reason, they could have hit the kid or something.

Instead they move around the house shouting rambo commands as if they were in the armed forced.
