I enjoy Darkwing Duck, whoever posted that first. Was a bit of nostalgia. After

yea, but can you name what company the famous stars are from? Not meant to pick on you but some people honestly do not know about stuffs they are not into and just because you know it does not mean every single person in the world knows it. I do know about DC and Marvel but i tend to get them mixed up from time to time.

That's not a correct example. The point was about knowing things even if you don't care about them.

More people know Superman, Hulk and Batman than Kesha. They are cultural icons and therefore, the companies they are from become part of that knowledge. Superman's SYMBOL is more famous than most people to have ever lived, that's saying something.

Nobody who "knows" about DC and Marvel gets them mixed up. Don't suggest "I'm a fan, but even I mix it up.", because no real fan would.
