Spider-Man, despite not being one of my favs, is probably the most respectable.

The shit he's gone through and the fact that he is still who he is as a person; it's amazing. Civil War was essentially his story, if you read the tie-ins.

Also, regarding The Flash; he's not just a fast guy. Wally West Flash (There have been a few Flashes) is the fastest being ever. He once saved 37,000 people from a nuclear bomb blast, including those at ground zero, and got them 500,000 miles away from the blast site.

I don't care about pop stars, I can name most of today's famous ones.

You don't care about Superman, Batman, Spider-Man or their comics. You could easily tell me their real names, though.

Pop stars are in (unfortunatly) todays news and part of our culture so anyone could not follow the whole celebrity but still pick up most of the what is going on.
This is a bit different to comic heroes where only the really popular ones get media attention through the movies and even now people still think Batman is part of Marvel of Ironman is DC. But they don't actually care, why would they? It doesn't make any difference to the film apart from if it has that comic montage at the beginning or not.
So my statement of most people not caring is most likely valid, I care but my Dad, brother or friends probably don't.
I'm only saying what the average person thinks not the people on this forum or Bob from the comic store people do get mixxed up let alone characters like the Flash who arn't that big outside the comic world.

And about my previous statement where I are said The Doctor was real, well thats you choice to decide if I was being serious or not.
