DDO players???

Just got into DDO when I found out eberron was f2p. Lovin' it so far but need some help doin some dungeons on the island.

You can solo the dungeons but its hard if you don't use tactics...

Easy to solo depending on your class and build and which dungeon it is..rogue's/barbarian's are pretty much the easiest to solo with.

That said it's extremely party based though....and it's way more fun in a party as well since it's more than just tank+healer+dps'ers...the dps'ers actually have quite a lot of things they can do besides just doing damage if they spec right. For instance, there are traps and hidden doors and locked doors in loads of of the dungeons, rogue's can learn to pick lock/spot/search/disable device(traps) etc. the best. Sorc's/wiz's etc. that can learn spells can be totally support based and go full buffs with maybe or two damaging spells + go UMD for wands and whatnot. Bard's have song's which are special class-only buffs (probably best in the game), paladin's and cleric's can heal/turn undead/do tons of damage to undead type monster's plus have a few aoe party buffs.

hey guys i play ddo daily i got atleast a high lvl toon on each server and one mid lvl toon but im willing to reroll my secondary on any server, im f2p but ive grinded enough to buy some high lvl packs (been playing since the day it went f2p)

khyber can be a harsh place many rat a ss vets giveing you the laydown if you take a wrong turn in a dungeon ghallanda telanis got the nicest/most mature player base imho

but if youre in to all that i r the shiaz n00b ph3ar me ! shit il still roll with you nothing feels as good as casting flesh to stone in a tavern brawl on those high lvl meele's that have a big mouth and low will save and watch as five lvl four's pound's him to death in autocrits the entire 2 min he is turned to stone (rawr zomg the Q.Q lol)

As I mentioned I played on Orien, kinda halfdead server aparantly(?) I haven't noticed that though, I got a lvl 15 ranger and a lvl 4 cleric (she's staying still due to lazyness). I have no intention of leaving Orien due to the fact i've found a lovely guild here :F.

yeah orien is the newest server only a few months old not much action there i think i have a lvl 14 tempest ranger there . and a 6 paladin. but its as you said rather dead so both of those are parked (gotta love the ranger class )

did you go tempest or aa ? i built myself around self heals 14 base wis , empower healing , elf dual wielding scimitars with the elven enchantments to dmg and to-hit pure power =) i might dragonmark him for displacements if i mutliclass with fighter and wiz for the feats so i can exchange lesser dragonmarks in but iono i got one of those on ghallanda already

Even if orien feels dead I still like the people here, not that many idiots, nearly everyone listens if you've done something before and so. Prices is like on every server, stupid.

I'm AA, though DW'ing when raiding, gotta get last pebble to craft greensteel then get raid items to enhance it.

cool youre talking about a gs bow i guess ? whats the dice onthose ? im still farming ingredients for my gs scimis (1d8 instead of 1d6 as on a normal scimmy) on my main or so to speak been trying to hard to trade me the ingredients i need, and latly ive been to lazy to run the shroud 24/7 so ive been lvling alts in hope that il get a reset soon but i kinda enjoy the way to the endgame more then the endgame it self

but soon enough ima run out of space and im going to shove in some euros into it then , for the price of a happy meal i could get what all 4 parts of the necropolis series and the sands pack ? but ive kinda enjoyed the grind since its more of a hack n slash then a tab+f1+f2+f3+f4+f5 game =)

and no its not dead but its not as populated as some older servers during some hours here in europe it can be really nasty forming groups since half the NA is asleep hehe ...but its a great time for auction bargain thoe =)

rawr i wanna play at work now but i get of in 3 hours servers should be up by then

I actually don't remember the dice for the gs longbow, and I could get the last pebble for free if I ask, but i've already gotten items worth over 200k pp's, so it feels sad to ask for more ~~;. Not sure what to enhance it with yet though, but that's another matter ;PpPpPpp.

I'd say get Deleras, and Necro atleast, and try to get ddo points free and buy additional, I love gianthold tbh, sands I could do without, only got a total of 70k xp there iirc. While GH has given me almost 250k.
And yeah, I managed to pay 25k for a tome yday, so scavage hunting the AH is awesome while the NA's sleep =).

Should be another 2h maintance, but they usually finish quicker so.. We'll see!

I want more character slots though, bad, because I want to make a healer...then maybe some type of paladin or something...lol I don't know...2 slots is kind of pathetic though :|
