    Default 10,000 dollar PC

    http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=7611743

This is ****ing impossible. 4x GTX 480s, and A CORE I7 extreme is about 3,000 by itself.

and it has a 250 gig SSD, and a 1.TB HD. that shit sucks. You can easily RAID 2 15 GIG SSDs and still save a grip load of money for the O.S Boot.

I don't see how all of this accumlated to 10 grand, aswell as the suggested price of 15k...wow

I just added alittle bit more onto my rig. (GTX 470, replaced my ram with 4 x 2 gigs of Corsair Doms, another 500 Gig WD Black, and a 30 gig SSD, and a x4 965) and that was only 800~... i don't see how this pc costs so much.

There will always be some people that know jackshit about PC prices that'll buy this (or any other overpriced PC) and think they made a good deal.

the casing is "ATI Crossfire X" and you have 4 nvidia cards inside... a person who knows DIY PC knows better than to do this =.= I hate red casing with a vengeance.

Benchmarks have shown that 2 480 GTXs perform at the same level at 3 480GTXs and sometimes the two outperform the three.

Probably a driver issue but it shows how much of a waste it is.

Anyone who buys more than one GTX480 is wasting money.

I always stick with single GPU builds because they are the best.

I am waiting for the GTX 500 series before I upgrade from my 8800gt.
Not many games even push that card.

And hopefully they fix the issues of the 400 series when they release the GTX 500 series.

3 GRAND FOR THIS PIECE OF SHIT?
Custom build that on newegg and you have it for about 1750USD.
Wow 3 grand and you only get a gts 250....

That GPU is about the same as mine and my computer build was 700-800 back in 2007.

Now it would be around 500-600.

Total 2059. For a piece of shit PC.

He could've saved about 600$ alone, by buying a Sli motherboard with a GTX 470.

Get rid of that dumb *** 80 gig OS SSD and replace it with a 30 gig, thats another 100~$. Why do you need a 80 gig OS when its only intended for booting up the System?

Get rid of the 1.5 TB HDD and Put in 2 640 GIG in RAID, much better performance.

for the price he spent on the 4x GTS 250s and Motherboard, he could've had a more adequate motherboard, Raid Set up, Sound card, speaker set, GTX 470, and a better PSU.

Hes getting less for more...shame i feel sorry for those buyers.

Well there are two types of rich people. Rich people who became rich by not using their head, and rich people who became rich by using their head (like in business or stuff like that). This is a PC for the rich people that didn't use their head.

NOBODY IS GOING TO BUY THE COMPUTER, and the reason any1 would buy it is if
A: They have no business opening a computer
B: so rich it would behoove them to have it all in one rather than work
C: They know about computers, but saved up and was being retarted

Notice he said smart rich people, the people I classified as people who made their fortune using their heads. The people you're describing fit into the rich-people-who-didn't-use-their-heads-to-get-rich category I was talking about before.
