Nasus was amazing on 5v5, an excellent damage dealer, good gank assister and excellent team fight presence and durability, the recent changes indirectly nerfed him.
Amumu was also a great tank, but after the new tank champions he has also fallen out of favor.
Both are pretty bad on TT.

Sivir doesn't have enough range, that range nerf really hit her.
Tristana and Ashe for damage and they are pretty easy to learn. Nidalee for more experienced players.

I'm fairly decent on Kayle, pretty good "newbie character" too imo... unless you really suck... she has heal and invulnerabilty ffs...(last game my 2 teamates sang praises of my "saving their asses", still lost though, 1 afk and 1 feeder...)

spellvamp is lifesteal by using spells, ie. morgana's passive(which is really crappy unless you get your ult off on the whole team, then it'll pretty much heal you to full).

backdooring is easily countered by just looking at your map.
thats one of the biggest problems i've seen with people, that they don't look at there map while playing.
Any melee can just sneak off while theres a team fight going on and backdoor, but people never bother to actually look, though there is the risk of your team dying or the other team is bad and can't take on a 5v4.
Yeah, I agree, its a tactic, you're there to win, so take down towers if its possible, its the other teams fault for not defending them.

Don't take anything for granted with Pantheon right now. He's actually bugged beyond belief. His heartseeker strike does his full attack damage every hit currently, but they want to buff him in other ways before they fix that issue, considering he's useless without it.

Been a really bad night for me tonight, i bought Olaf and i'll admit he's a great champion but i don't know how to effectively use him.
i always use his Q spell to spot out other champs but i never know when to throw ragnarok on because the berserk passive makes me wanna do it as low as possible [stupid i know.
