next gen MMORPG

Hey guys,

I trying to make a list of all the next gen MMORPG that I can find, but I'm having trouble finding more. I only got 4 MMO's so there must be more.
I got:
- Blade&Soul
- Tera Online
- Vindictus
- RaiderZ

These are all fast pased action MMO's. Does anyone know more of this type of MMO??

äh i really think you guys missunderstand something...Next Gen has nothing to do with action combat system or point and click..really. There will be next gen point and click mmorpgs too and so on.

If you wanna another action mmorpg - C9 is really good. Hope we will get the english version too (like it more than mabi heroes)

i like combat over graphic. them are the next gen. if there point and click i dont think there next gen there use old gen. system

graphic dont make the game it the gameplay. game have way good graphic but it can be piece of crap game. aions have nice graphic but gameplay suck because of the target point system turnbase battle

how can you call clone wow/everquest/ next gen when there use the same battle system on every single game. to me next gen are AMmorpg it remove from old system to action style fighting sytem

yeah and thats totaly wrong. Perhaps you like action mmorpgs more than other mmorpgs but you cant say its next gen. This has
nothing to do with opinions. Next gen is next gen (read articles about the meaning of next gen) and not just Ammorpgs (lolz A )

hey kid, since when did i say they are next gen? i really hate people who try to put words in my mouth.

my concept of next gen will also need to include multi-platforming. FF14 is said to be going to the Xbox 360 (after PC and PS3), but the boring combat doesn't make the cut.

And also 3D enabled for 3D googles and monitors.

i see what hes saying tho about those being next gen.
But i think Games that have the combination of Point and click and
Not "Awsome" Graphics make it old gen.
While The Action style games are coming out more and more now they
seem like there taking over the point and click system making it Next gen.
Or atleast thats how i feel.

nah, it is like i said allready. At the same time there are new fresh point and click games out there and who said that point and click can not get some updates?

for example - fast speed point and click games like diablo 3 (not a mmorpg) or other new point and click games. They are great and i think they will getting new ideas to make more special p&c combat systems and so on. Of course you are right that there are many new action combat games out there but this is just something like a trend + in the end..many of those games are boring too because they are generic. A game needs more to be special + next gen.

anything with generic watch enemy attack in auto attack boring. game with action style let you dodge,jump. grap throw your enemy cross field is way better and more fun. no auto bot sytem in them games.

And how can you call a DDO/RYL clone next gen? Just because they throw in some fancy graphics and cooler skills does not make them much different than previous hack and slashers... Your point is invalid. This isn't next gen, it's still in the norm.

I think everyone has their own opinion about what "Next-Gen" means. It doesn't mean they are wrong or you are right it's simply opinion. For instance, my opinion of a Next Gen game is as follows: Advance up to date graphics, Action type of combat with great graphical skills (summoning realistic weather effects, fireballs, lightning calling etc...), advanced content with voice overs, and gameplay. Those are all things I consider to be next gen and only partly being done right by Bioware (voiceovers). Something I consider next-gen. Until we get to THAT point in the industry, everything else is simply different. Cross platforming hasn't ever meant anything to me as I believe (in my opinion) all consoles will eventually just be a computer you can upgrade/buy. One day you'll customize everything from your processor in your console, to the graphics card, to the HDD(SDD), to whatever you can afford to put into it. When that day comes I expect that next-gen gaming will include every console player to be able to play with every PC gamer and etc...

The truly next-generation is seeing the Wii/NATAL take off in MMO's and becoming prevalent in PC's. When those days come you can start claiming that we're seeing next generation, until then I pretty much think it's quite alright to let next-gen be simply an individuals opinion .
