Cool First F.E.A.R. 3 Screens Released

Look at what I found, unfortunately for me, I still need to finish the first one and its expansions, and then play the second one and any expansions it may have, before I even tackle the third one:

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) has finally launched a batch of screenshots from the upcoming game F.E.A.R. 3. Slated for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC, the upcoming third installment is expected to hit retail shelves sometime during Fall 2010. As reported earlier, Monolith Studios passed the development baton over to Day 1 Studios, and will receive additional help from famed horror movie director John Carpenter and horror comic and script writer Steve Niles.

I don't think I will like this one, but I could be wrong.

I hope it turns out to be a good game.

Games that were originally made for the PC seem to be butchered when they become consolized.

You can say the same thing about games that were made on PC specifically for the consoles, then backported to PC.

Doesn't look like F.E.A.R at all. Just some mindless brain-splashing game.

This is America. All we need is blood, bullets and brain-splashing.

I think he's trying to say that PC games that where optimized to play on a console look terrible on average PCs. Something like that.

Well sometimes they do but I can only name a few and most were fixed later.

And that also strengthens my point that consoles games are holding back PC games.

Instead of a horror RPG I want a really good indepth Resident Evil MMO.

Ones that were more scary like the older resident evil games but not bad like Outbreak.

Loved the first one and the expansions ^^. Haven't played the second one yet but going to do so before this releases.

But yeah, these screens look pretty weird and I can only hope it will slightly resemble the original.

And blood is what players want, in general.

I'm looking forward to F3AR, the only thing thats bothering me is the whole Co-op along with Point Man and Paxton working together.

well the expansions of FEAR are not related to the original storyline in any way. The expansions were made by a different company/studio before Warner Bros. reclaimed the rights to the franchise~ hence why FEAR 2 just starts off from where FEAR 1 left off with no relations to the expansions whatsoever.
