Tauri World is similar to Ikariam and other MMO browser based games in the terms that the concept is to collect resources and build and expand the empire. It is set in a Archipelago which is a chain of islands and it is here that we find wood, metal and glass, all needed for basic survival. There are many different buildings that can be constructed, some are defensive, attack and to harvest resources. Most are unlocked at higher levels. There is also the possibility to open or join other guild who will help in battles or with extra resources. Weapons can also be installed on your village to try to prevent enemy raids and unwanted entrances. There are many types of weapons but they are classified under heavy and light weapons. Heavy weapons do much more damage than light weapons and can even take out buildings if necessary. Tauri Online is an indepth tactical game where every decision counts as you try to climb the ladder to the top.
