Default BRAND NEW Gateway FX Series gaming computer = no signal to monitor?

So my gateway FX series gaming computer just came in, of course I instantly got rid of my old computer and hooked up everything. But when I turn it on and try and turn the monitor on it displays no signal. I've tried two different monitors, so it's not a problem with the monitor. The DVI cable is nice and secure, I quadruple checked. I also took off the case and made sure everything was plugged in tight since components sometimes come lose during shipping. No problems. so what could be the problem?

    Every fan is working, BTW.

    Your GPU might be dead.

Seeing you took off the side of the case, I assume you voided your warranty, meaning you'll have to buy a new card yourself.

Also, that the fan spins doesn't mean it works.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

Does it make a beeping sound when booting up?

Take it to the shop. If they call your warranty void because of an opened sideplanel, they are dicks.
