OpenTTD is an open source clone of the Microprose game "Transport Tycoon Deluxe", a popular game originally written by Chris Sawyer. It attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features.

Chris Sawyer has also made other great games like Roller Coaster Tycoon (one of my favorites), and Locomotion (Spiritual Successor to Transport Tycoon).

The best part about it? Its open source and completely freeeeee! Fun game for those that like sim management games.

I remember this game from AGES ago!

I remember all those really crazy maps they randomly generated and shit, Pretty damn awesome game. Thanks for sharing, dude.

Even though Locomotion came out after TTD, TTD is still much better than Locomotion for various reasons. The only thing I like about locomotion is the train track layout. Other than that TTD is better, and OpenTTD has awesome multiplayer.
