    Default Dungeons and Dragons online

Anyone played it? I've played for a few days and im hooked!

Its very similiar to guild wars in term of the instances and party playing. The combat is also very similiar but very diverse and different. Anyone looking for a new game to play should check it out.

F2P by the way, with the ability to pay for items. The payable items can also be brought through in game money.

    http://www.ddo.com/

There are 2 downloadable clients, the high quality and the normal quality. So choose which ones you think your computer can handle. My computer (running an integrated graphic card) could handle the normal client with high graphics.

I dont understand the fun with being a barbarian.
Can you elaborate? I mean, casting spells and shooting arrows just seems a lot more fun.

So.. Did you do all the korthos island on Elite aswell? Or only those in the town?

And if you think you can just go normal your way too level 20 you're wrong, you need to repeat some on higher difficulty, even if you got all packs, because you'll miss out tons of XP by not doing it.

Its not for everyone, this is not for pvp gamers.. pvp wasnt even intended to be in this game, they just added it in later and it is severely unbalanced.
But this is a great game for pvers.

I don't understand the fun being a caster. Everyone is different.
BTW, barbarian has trip, stunning blow spell-like abilities to play with. Buffs - rage, frenzies.

Personally I like playing as a rogue, especially assassin - every 10 seconds i can instantly kill a living target, even 2 if they stand near each other. Being immune to damaging spells is great also (evasion). Now working on getting radiance rapier, so can become main DPS in a party instead of being dependent on aggro management.

So is player vs player in the tabletop game. D&D was never for PVP.

I also believe you can still unlock the Dark Elves by collecting favour. So save those earned Turbine Points for something else.

400 favor with 1 character gives you the Drow Race indeed!

You can get too level.. level... 17 or 20, I am not 100% sure, aparantly they added some more F2P quests (rumors) but not sure. There is still alot of content to play ofc.
You can atleast do some of the most annoying quests :D.
