And I can see once again that nobody here played it past level 35.
Yeah, I am still playing it from time to time. I take breaks regularly to enjoy other stuff as well. I will be playing again when I come back from my trip to Switzerland&Italy.
The game is fun and the grind doesn't kick in until level 70 or so. You basically do your acts for the first 30~35 levels. By then, you will have enough money to sponsor a few ichi gold/celu gold runs. These runs will provide you enough experience (at least, if you use some x2/x3/x5 XP incenses, which you can easily obtain from events and such) to get to 45 in a single day. Furthermore, you can keep sponsoring these runs until 65+.
After level 65, you can participate in several 'hard' dungeons as a part of the essential group which is required to beat those (Offensive mage (DD or regular), enhancer, MB gunner, melee & 'optional').
The problem with the game is that everybody above level 65 is begging the developers to hurry and give us the new acts. In the last few months, Aeria was able to get a lot of content from the Japanese server, but CAVE/Atlus isn't quite... fast.
The game is great, the storyline is amazing, the grind is okay and the features are so incredibly diverse. There is so much to do, enough to keep you busy for at least a few months (read: until new content gets released). Furthermore, Aeria is doing their best to keep the game fun for higher levels with big events and nice rewards from time to time. They should really stop with the constant promotions, though
The population is still going strong. There aren't as many players as there are on Maple Story, but the community is still quite big.
Anyway, see it for yourself or wait for two weeks. I'll certainly make a Megaten thread by then :3
