Reputation: 882the gameplay is just way different man, in ps u have aircrafts and tons of different vehicles and its based on hacking towers and base controlled by one out of 3 factions, the size of land u can travel on is about a milion times bigger then global agenda id said. also this open world u talk about isnt an open world.. its just 1 big zone, not a world. and from what i read its only pointed towards people till level15.
anyway looks like u never even played planetside. in PS u have multiple continents linked to eachother with 10-20 bases and towers in each of these continents and where hundreds of people at the same time can battle over 1 base, THAT is an open world. lets see how GA's open world turns out lol.
i have nothing against GA its a fun game, but PS has much more to offer really.

I enjoy planetside alot more than GA personally.. They're two completely different games anyway.
[taiko][/taiko]We're so legit we can play kingdom hearts TWO PLAYER without looking.

Reputation: 15I played PS when it was in it's prime, and it seriously was the most fun I ever had in a "battlefield" type of game. It was years ahead than any other war simulation game. The fact that it tried to make the game as open world as possible made it feel like you were in a real war.
It'd be awesome if they remade the game with a new engine and better support. I'm sure it'd be popular. I do not know how GA is, but looking at the game it seems pretty different and most definitely (argument?) has less to offer than PS did.
well I can confirm that at least in the last month the game isnt dead:
