Do you play MMO's?
After I actually joined this forum I got some sense on what makes a MMO good, and all of the MMO's out now, suck..
To be exact, I do not play any MMO's for over a half year or so, there are so much negatives and shit that its not even worth to play.

There are a lot of WoW clones which suck hard. Look at Allods Online, 4 Story and Runes of Magic. Also a new game called Martial Empires, which is kind of a "light" Aion clone. So yea, a lot of clones. I honestly haven't played a good MMO for a long time. I would love to play APB but I don't got enough money, 50 dollars is just too much for me right now. So yea, a lot of MMO's are meh.

All of those damn developers try to make clones.
No one tries to make a new style, like Blizzard does over and over again, thats the damn reason for their success.

i quit most of them as well
but with steam going mad,i am buying some online B2P games
atm i am playing Grand Chase,WOW and starting GA soon and Taikodom
so yeah i play MMOs,you just need to find your one that you love and that is it
i tried nearly all of them,some i /uninstalled immediately, some i gave time to and some i stuck to forever like Taikodom
So just try the oldies out and maybe you wil stick to one of them

I play MMO's when I get bored with console games, and by MMO's, I mean WoW.
I've tried dozens upon dozens of f2p MMO's and only found a few that I could tolerate, but that toleration usually only lasted about a week. As for the b2p or p2p games, the only one that really keeps me in has been WoW.
They're all the same.
I am, however, really excited for Final Fantasy XIV.

A cloned MMO is not the same as a MMO that got influenced by a game or genre.A clone is a rip off, an almost exact copy of the game or in Runes of Magic's case, an almost exact copy of WoW's interface.

I go to this forum occasionally to check up on new MMOs that might have potential. As for the games I play, none of them are MMOs. The only MMO that I found to be worth my time was WoW and just the arena part of it since all my irl friends do PvP almost exclusively.
Yes, I think after these 2-3 years of observing MMOs coming out and fading away it's very safe to assume that there will be no more great games coming out of the MMO industry for a very long time. I predict the next big hit we'll have is when technology allows for new innovative ideas, or if Blizzard decides to shell out some big bucks to create a new MMO.
Just because all these MMOs are bad, doesn't mean they aren't enjoyable. Instead of going into a game looking for features that will seem entertaining to you, look for the community and immerse yourself in it. That is what we need to do now in order to have "fun".

i've reverted to playing Dragon raja again because nothing out is any good.
i'm just waiting for uncharted waters.
