Its Rockstar, don't expect them to come into money issues.
Their games are all pointed out at adults, they even said that they only make their games for adults.

I doubt they will ever lift the subscription.

I mean, I know what I'm talking about is mainly GTA, but read this here

i dont expect the prices to stay like this though, it will probably drop like insane in the coming days. (the APB$>RTW price that is)

if your a good designer/customiser u might have some luck selling clothes/music/symbols and keep going for RTW points aswell.
Yeah, the reviewer WowFony makes music on the side of doing game reviews for Zam and he made a tutorial for the music editor since he has advanced experience. He made a rick-rolled theme and sold a TON of them for a mass amount of gold and RTW points.

    Ridiculous.

    Eurogamer gave it a 6.
    PCGamer gave it 55%.

I would give it a 4/10 wish I never spent 30 quid on it.

Hell, without the customization this game would be closing on 2 for me.

Depends. If you are a criminal, get your level up by killing innocent people and committing crimes, then win missions, not that long. If you lose missions and don't do well in them, quite a bit longer.

Go in to the social district, design a logo, sell it for like 5k. See if you can get like 10 people to buy it since it's cheap.

Holy ****.......i spent £30 on this shit aswell, lol it's not looking hopefull :S i hope it's good.

Then again edge magazine gave it a 7.

TBH reviewing MMO games on release is unfair, at least review them a month later.

I don't think it will drop the subscription fee since you have choices on how you would like to buy hours and you can still do the social district stuff. This thread is just another example of how most OnRPG'ers have too high of expectations for most games. I figured it wouldn't be perfect, or even far from it but it is still fun.

How is reviewing MMOs on a release unfair?
It's not the magazines/websites fault for the developers releasing a shitty game.

Ontopic: I would give it around a couple months, free-roam games usually get boring without any real achievement.

So...me and my dad are going to get this game soon....am I wasting money? I like free roaming, I don't care for a "rocky start" or "difficult newb-stage" I just want to know is it populated enough to have fun? And is it a good game?

lol those reviews are full of mistakes and false information acording some of these reviews they say theres no cover system while clearly they havent played even 1 hour then to figure out the controlls and the cover system that IS there-.- + plenty of other mistakes that have been mentioned on apb forum.

anyway whether the game is fun im not gonna answer, its the same with all shooters. if your a noob and cant aim/shoot then this game will suck for u, if your a pro that knows how to use his surroundings (walls/cars) and put bullets into his enemy the right time/place then this game will rock :P
it really gives a rush getting a 10 killspree followed up by a bounty on your head turning every enforcer or criminal your enemy lol

Eh. Biggest issue for me was the unfinishedness of the game.

The game really wasn't ready for release, there were massive bugs in the game and a bunch of stuff like that.

Also, I was very unkeen about them only giving 50 hours as a start-up rather than the standard 30 days.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

customise cars, character, clothes, symbols, music, profit at the marketplace, after that go out to a different zone and blast random people :P yeah thats pretty much it i think. but ofcourse like any other mmo they will have huge content updates, like adding chaos district and stuff for more hardcore players :P but i dont know much about that yet

theres also allot of smaller features like the things u do in missions, stealing and dropping off cars for money, ram raiding shops with cars, witnissing crimes as a enforcer and arresting criminals, getting a bounty on your head making u enemy of the whole city, upgrading your weapons and standings/ranking at contracts to unlock more stuff

Just an update, after playing this for a while.

    ****ing epic.

The reviews are so ****ing wrong it's unbelievable, this game is clearly an 8/10.

The customization is out of this world, teamwork is great. Nothing is more fun than riding about with 4 teammates shooting at police while trying to escape, or shooting the bad guys while chasing them if your police.

Buy it, if you like Saints row or GTA and teamwork, buy it.

    It's amazing.

Uh I got a question: The game comes with 50 hours of game time, does this mean like as soon as you activate your account or whatever the clock begins to count down and you get just 2 hours over 2 days?

Or is it like the 50 hours is what you make of it when you log on and such?

The time only counts down when you are in action districts, not when in social.
