Default So how long till APB drops subscription?

With some games going free to play or buy to play (Or some strange mix of both). It makes you wonder can a game actually be good enough to warrant a full priced purchase PLUS costs?

So im just wondering what you people think about APB and how long till they drop the sub IF they drop the sub.

What'd they lie about specifically? Just curious.

I believe they lied when they said it would be a B2p than f2p game similar to the Guild Wars Franchise. They kind of pulled the whole "buy game time" thing out their ***.

'Similar' being the keyword in that sentence.
Isn't it free to play in the social districts, and you have to pay to go to action districts?

If you look at it that way, they didn't lie at all.

Don't want to make a big deal about the lie thing, but basically they advertised the game as FREE to play after purchasing the game, then right before release, as someone perfectly put it,

The game is pretty horrible, I have been tempted to write a review for awhile now, just don't have any sites to publish it on since I quit.

Anyways, it's not going to switch anytime soon. People can purchase the RTW points with real money then trade them for a mass amount of money and items in-game. It's the perfect system.

Hardcore players don't have to pay, but can if they want to and will for a couple months.

Medium players will pay and can use some RTW points for hours in-game when they know they're not going to be active.

And the worst players will purchase RTW points and trade them to become better in-game.

The game itself isn't a bad deal just for the social district and the free hours of action district. Althought Steam promised me 50 hours of action district time, and APB gave 10 for the early-access, yet that 10 is all I have on my account for some reason (maybe it switches to the 50 when the 10 are used up..?). It's basically a graphic design/music editing tool that they attempted to call a game by adding lame, repetitive missions.

Not to mention the security on the game is a joke at this point in time, can't tell you how many people I see running around, not crouched or zoomed in, with their SMG out and they can track you perfectly. Not saying they are using aimbots, but I just didn't realize Rapha cloned himself and created 100 APB characters.

(Wondering if anyone here will even get the reference..)

To be completely honest: I'd rather them keep their subscriptions. There are other games out there that are B2P and then P2P and nobody complains about them, and APB's sub is even CHEAPER than the other B2P/P2P games!

But on to my main reason to keep the P2P model: It keeps out the halo/GoW 10 year olds who will without fail cry on the forums about not being able to headshot/melee for one hit kills because they have no skill at being able to fight a prolonged fight.

yeah exactly, the district chat of APB is 100x more mature then the global agenda city chat just to give a example.. lol. i hope it stays p2p aswell, i can get a month of gametime earned in just 2 days anyway (love the ability to trade apb dollars for RTW lol)

it costs 400RTW for a month (10dollar). right now 100k APB$ sells for arround 1k RTW(-20%tax once sold so 800=2 months) and u can get it in notime. afking at fashionista+tuner gets u 5k-10k for lvl10 to 15 each level, i think total u get from both is arround 75k which is 2x8hours afking :P

i dont expect the prices to stay like this though, it will probably drop like insane in the coming days. (the APB$>RTW price that is)

if your a good designer/customiser u might have some luck selling clothes/music/symbols and keep going for RTW points aswell.
