Default How is this computer, generally?

So my desktop has been broken for a while, and our warranty still covers it so I have been waiting to get it repaired. Well, they notified me about a week ago that the parts were on backorder so instead they are doing a replacement. The tower I am getting as a replacement, is a pretty large upgrade over my old one, and am just looking for some opinions on how this one looks from gaming standpoint, generally.

Sure, i know it is probably not TOP of the line or anything, but just generally how should it run in your honest opinion?

    Acer Aspire AX1301-U1302
    AMD Athlon II X2 215 @ 2.7GHz
    4GB of DDR2 RAM
    750GB HDD
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    Nvidia Geforce 9200 Graphics Card

    Thanks everyone!

I have an Acer myself, but I modified it. It was pretty much on the same scale as that, but I upgraded my GPU to a ATI 4850 1GB instead, and added some DDR3 RAM, runs any game I play like a charm.

That PC looks pretty decent, but if you ask anyone, building your own PC is your best bet. Although that isn't happening in this case, you should think about upgrading this later on, if it's practical.

Oblivion and Fallout 3 for sure. I picked up Crysis Warhead at a garage sale for 3 bucks, i might try that on some lower settings. Uh, Gothic 3, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. I plan on getting a P2P mmo, maybe darkfall or age of conan im leaning towards. Mount and Blade. Maybe some others, but those are the ones i know for sure ill be playing.

I expect em to mostly all work, i dont mind turning settings if it makes it smoother.

If you could save up and manage, I'd recommend:

    and

It seems like you'll be doing some medium level gaming, and the GPU above won't be able to handle it.

None of thats really an option for me atm. Thank you for the tips though. I plan on keeping them at pretty low levels so hopefully I won't have too many issues.

Mmm...Oblivion and Fallout 3, I'd say it's playable, but you sure use some FPS configs or mods to lower the graphics to be safe. Crysis Warhead, I'd say pretty unlikely.

But if you had the 4870, or actually, any Radeon X6XX+ will do or a GeForce X600+. You'd be able to play all of them, Not gonna set any records, since the CPU will be a slight hold back, but I'd say medium on all of them seems about right.

The one i had before was a vista with a 2.2 ghz processor and geforce 7100, and i could run oblivion and fallout on low settings. As long as the games are playable on low-medium and maybe a little high is ok with me
