I played the BETA
The game is room based, only open world you see is when you go to town, and when your in front of the dungeon portal, thats it.
Also the combat is all based on key combos, for example.
xxxxc - combo 1
dddf - combo 2
sdsd - combo 3
Also you dont get any new combos, what you get at level 1 is what you have.
Every 5-10 levels you get 1 skill, with long cool down.
Basically the game is a grind, grind starts at lv 5, then takes long time to level up.

Reputation: 10I don't get it. Do you guys prefer POINT AND CLICK and just stay in one spot as opposed to being able to move around while in combat and spamming buttons? I don't get some gamers really. I guess people prefer a boring stale combat system.
My wish is to have a 3D LUNIA type game where it's open world and not room based. The only "room-based" part about it would be dungeons and raids I guess. I think that would be something new, but developers have not picked up on that idea yet. Not sure how Vindictus or Dragon Nest exactly work, but we'll see.
Reputation: 72Game are more like copy Monster hunter ideas. Tera is open action mmorpg and it going to have open world. but that p2p. you have wait 5 more year till we get fully action mmorpg open world games.
Vindictus ,dragon nest and divine soul have open world towns they can be upgrade in the future updates to have more towns and more dungeons there just like guild wars.
big dirrence between those games is
guild wars is acually fun to play.
and about Vindictus, remains to be seen, the game looks pretty fun.
Reputation: 14Vindictus is room based as well, from what I've seen and read up about it. Also, it seems to have the same problem you're experiencing with Divine Souls, because everytime I look up a video it's the same combo over and over again...
Well, whatever, it's something to whet the appetite whilst waiting for more worthwhile games to come out.
