    No, he's not kidding, Turbine is using the same model for the F2P version that they are using for DDO.

    FF14 in Beta,LOTRO going F2P,Allods going down,Martial Empires IP block,all that is really big for me

    I hope everyone that's stoked for LOTRO have actually played it..

    I was in the beta and I just feels like they didn't put enough story into it..Kill this kill that..Hell I didn't even make it to a decent dungeon. I'm sure I'll give it another shot when I have people to play with but for now DDO is better IMO.
