No, its closed beta. From what the public announcements say, the F2P build should be released this fall.

assuming this will be lotro largest thread, ill ask few question about the game.
#1 is this open beta?
#2 does the point ever expire(free 1k point via fileplanet)
#3 you can buy/acquire all the skills and customize to ur liking whenever you want to?(no reset skill/char needed?)
#4 theres only 1 server? or is it just for beta period?

1. It's Closed Beta, thus why you need a Key.
2. That 1k point will expire when it transits to OB, or Released.
3. You can obtain ALL skills, then you choose when to equip which Mastery Skills. Can change the Mastery Skills anytime.
4. Only 1 sv for CB.

EDIT: why it says I have only 8 days to play left :/ isn't this beta supposed to have unlimited time? btw in which world are you guys, one more thing, I've had a lot of problems in only 10 minutes after installing the game, first I couldn't connect to server, second when I entered the game it crashed, then it froze after doing the tutorial... :/
