The Ritualist' armor's were SOOO awesome looking, to be honest there armor was the only reason for me making one xD(And there skills are fun to use, I always went channeling magic instead of summoning and would switch to heal's every now and then :P)
Reputation: 21Yeah i basically bought GW to be a rit but i was always a ranger, still gotta kick it bac up before this comes out but with LOTR beta illl prob do it next week
Reputation: 59I hate rangers in this game, I don't know why, but I found them to be extremely boring. And the fact that their pets are a liability instead of something that helps is just anoying.
I even tried making a beast master Ranger, but because you can't actually control your pet, it's useless.
But looking at the Ranger preview, I'm more optimistic of playing one now.
Frikkin pet sharks man!
Reputation: 25Didn't play GW1 but GW2 sounds like my cup of tea.

i hope this game is optimized enought to run on lower spec PCs
Reputation: 17The Ritualist was probably one of the most unique and original classes I've ever seen in a game. Guild Wars has something that most other games don't, a believable, encapsulating storyline and PVE environment.
So no grind means they are keeping the low lvl cap like in guild wars 1 or that they exp rate is very high.
I personally liked the low level 20 cap in GW. having to take down bosses to get a chance to capture epic skills was a neat twist and very enjoyable instead of having to grind aimlessly for quests to ding enough to unlock a skill like most common mmorpg's out there..
Agreed, I honestly will miss the level 20 cap. That's one of the things that really caught my attention in Guild Wars.........and has made it difficult for me to enjoy another MMO ever since >.>
