Unfortunately, THC can cause anxiety in some! While for some it provides a relaxation, others can get a racy heart, panic attacks, etc.
From a pre-existing tendencies to anxiety of course. Its not going to GIVE you anxiety, but it has the potential to bring out any underlying anxiety.
However, an indica heavy strain rather than a racy sativa should relax anyone. But...99% of people getting herb don't know anything about genetics. So, unless you have a medi card and get your stuff direct from a grower or a dispensary, that info is useless.
Go to the doctor and tell him. Get xanax. It really works. I have developed some really shitty anxiety myself lately, and the xanax really keeps it in check. I also have a bunch of of valiums on days where its really out of control.
