run games off a USB drive?
Hey, guys, I am wondering do you have the experience of running games off a USB drive.
I am recently considering putting my favourites PC games into a USB so that I can play them from computer to computer.
Just copy them to a USB drive, seems not working. Do you have any ideas?

It's possible.
Depending on the type of memory it uses, it should work fine.
It's the same thing as your hard drive, except the read/write speeds.
It'll probably be god-awful slow, but whatever.

My friend has been running games off his flash drive for a while, however, registry files and dlls may not move between computers if I am correct.

It's possible, but don't expect it'll run everything flawlessy.
Search on *cough* sites for portable games, which usually are older games.
