just use the laso tool and draw around ur image u wanna cut then press the quick mask button and now use one of the default circle brushes and make shure the color is black and now just start cutting out ur image and make shure u hit the quickmask button again to check ur progress

when u open up gimp look at ur tools and lasso tool is the 3rd tool it is the 'select hand drawn region tool' anyways u can give me a pic and i could render it for ya,i've been making really good renders lately

After your finshing doing that. Where do you put your picture?
