And I know it's not a shooter or an RPG, but the Ratchet And Clank Future trilogy. (Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty and A Crack in Time) Soooo much fun.

The ratchet and clank games are pretty good.

But no, I wouldn't say Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2 are must gets. All they are are pretty shooters. I suppose if you like shooters and have to have the OMFGBEST graphics then sure, must gets.

Oblivion and Fallout 3 lose a lot of their charm on the consoles because you don't have access to all the mods out there.

Trinity Universe is fun IF you're a fan of JRPGs and crossover games in general. It's like Cross Edge except in 3D. A very niche game.

Demon's Souls seems like a very good game...I'm going to have to grab that eventually.

InFamous is a pretty fun sandbox style modern superhero game.

Borderlands is insanely fun if you can play it with a few friends.

MGS4....I'm not sure what to make of it. It's more of a movie than a game.

FF13 is not your typical final fantasy game, so if you buy it expecting it to be exactly like FF7, 8, 9, 10, etc but with prettier graphics, you're going to be dissapointed.

TBH there still aren't very many RPGs on the PS3. So far most of them are pretty shooters, although RPGS are coming up on the system.

If you have a certain model PS3 (I forget which one it is...) you can also play your PS2 games on it, so theres that.

Fair enough, but I've had waaaay more fun online on Killzone 2 then any other console shooter I've played in a long time. Uncharted 2 might not be a must buy, but I'd say at least go through the single player once, it was a really fun experience the first time around. (with that being said, probably wouldn't play through it multiple times, but the multiplayer wasn't terribly bad either imo.)

And yes, you really should grab Demon's Souls eventually. Probably one of the best games, if not the best game for PS3 I've played.

cuz da game is BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAST and hard with hours upon hours of gameplay. I got a chance to borrow it a couple of months ago and it was fun but then like a week later Modern Warfare 2 came out and I gave back demons souls and I played it like a maniac lol. I dont play call of duty anymore as it is extremely stale now and I want to get demons souls for myself eventually.

You should check out Deathspank its a game in the playstation store. bought is yesterday and its hella fun reminds a lil bit of diablo
