No one plays it, speaks about it, or even hyped about it when it was launched. Is it really such a bad game...the forums look like they are dead compared to Darkfall.

Same thing with Darkfall.
It was talked about so much but then...
Silence.
Same thing with Aion.

The movies and screenshots that was released dosn't even come close to how the game looks or even plays. The interface is a complete mess, there is no kind of decent tutorial even for new players and the lurning curve is steeper then any game i've played before, including the first Everquest.
It still have a loyal fanbase that continues to plays it, but in my opinon this game was not ready to be released, it's still as if it should be in a very early closed beta stage or even alpha considering the server stability and other things. Save your money for now is my advice.
Decent game, but they ****ed up majorly after launch. Think it was like one or two weeks after launch, when, for some reason, a minority of the playerbase requested a wipe aand for some strange reason StarVault did it. Most of the big guilds had already settled down and had their towns forming up, so the wipe caused obviously caused a major loss of players (I don't know exact numbers but I'm assuming around half or more even). Most of them also wanted their money back, and because of what they had done, StarVault had no choice but to give it to them.
Played it for 2 hours and uninstalled. It was no fun at all and like someone mentioned before it contained no real tutorial. Also the graphics(on max) were NOTHING like the screenshots, far worse.
Yet even after this and Aion people still hype over generic fantasy MMOs as if it'll be next greatest thing. No one seems to know any better. I guess after 10+ years its easier to see that 99% of MMOs are the same. If only the MMO game devs would evolve.

The problem for me wasn't the buggs at all, I count with several buggs and issues with every new game that is released, even at launch there is going to be a handfull of them still around. The problem with this game for me was the non-existant tutorial, there was simply none at all apart from some random text that didn't explain anything. Your thrown right into a huge sandbox without any pointers at all to what to do, that is if you dont go to the forum and ask for help there, and really that shouldn't be necesary for a game these days.
That together with the extremly unfriendly interface, navigating it makes me want to set kittens on fire (yes..kittens again) >_>. Those where the gamebreakers for me, and im not re-subbing again untill they make some fixes on these areas.
Never played EVE so I wouldn't know, games these days have no excuse to have interfaces like the one in mortal online or not include atleast a tutorial on how to navigate it. I shit you not there isnt even a turotial on what buttons that brings up what windows, and there is a crapload of them.
