Who is going to go see The expendables? Personally i plan to see it opening night and am expecting it to be the best action movie in the past few years, usually i don't put many expectation's on movies but with the expendables cast i just cant see it being bad

for those of you who don't know what it is:

well just saw it, and im glad to say this movie has 60$ off of me, hopefully that will go into the money pool for a second.

how i spent 60$ well i bought i ticket's for the 5PM showing, and gf had to work late and i couldnt get a refund (wtf) then i bought tickets for the 7PM showing and right when we were about to leave my gf told me that my mom took the car to take my sister and her friends to get food, also couldn't get a refund for that, but i was determined to see this movie, so i bought a ticket for the 11PM showing and we made it to that but didnt buy any popcorn or anything because i was already out 60$ anyways on to the movie.

Ill start with probably the worst part of the movie, and that was, well it was nothing.

i went in and got exactly what i expected and went for, action you can tell the movie had little to no CGI and it was all good ol' 80s style sets, the set design was amazing and what would take most 150m+ budget movies 20 million to pull off came pretty much free because a lot of the places they filmed at were actual shops and places, so it had a bit of realism in that respect, the story was pretty straight forward and basic, mercenaries get job, they do job, and one of the job's they turn down ends up being really special for the main man (stallone) and instead of going to finish the job he decides hes going back for the girl and his team decides to come along with.

The jokes were pretty funny, and a lot of them had to do with the actor's in the real world, like people making fun of stallone's age and in the church with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Stallone makes a joke about him wanting to be the president. and most of the other jokes ended up with jet li's height being the butt of the joke.

final word, dont go into the movie expecting a pg-13 action like most are today, while its not as bloody as most 80's action mvoies were, its still got bodys being blown up. if you dont like 80's action movies you're probably not going to like this movie and you might as well pass and save your money for transformers 3 or what ever you like.

i give it a 9 out of 10 just because i don't believe in rating stuff 10/10

ill probably wright a more in-depth and better "review" after i see it again, and don't have kids crying and people laughing and claping and screaming at every little thing that happens (i'm looking at you idian family of 20 that sat behind me and in front of me), i missed a lot of parts because i went into my own little world to stop myself from getting up and making a scene and yelling at everyone

cant wait to see the The expendables 2, its already been confirmed and its underway, unless the first flops.

SPOILER:
SPOILERthe part that made the movie for me personally was when terry crews came in and saved the teams life by killing 20+ people with a a12 shotgun while walking and spraying through the hallway
