While I'm sort of ignorant on how contacts work between a game licensor and licensees,I'd like to think that since Aeria is dealing with a major brand here that Koei would have SOME sort of say in how they run the game.

I'm just saying: It's the best at for what it is.
Other hack n' slash games like God of War, Devil May Cry and others have a little more thought invovled when taking down enemies and sometimes punishes button mashing. With Dynasty Warriors, you can pretty much win by mashing attack and alt. attack to pull off a 300+ hit combo.
Of course, that isn't to say that it isn't fun.

Yeah ~ Dynasty warriors is pretty much just a basic hack and slash game but thats what pretty much made it what it is ~ its a fast hitting combat game where you swing your weapon against large groups of enemies and get hundreds of kills a battle. =P Aka, fun. ^.^

I thought the English version of this got canned. This is good news. I played the JP version when it was out. I didn't get too into it because I was going to wait for the English one. But then the news dried up and that was that. I was thinking that Strikeforce was a good alternative. This year keeps getting better and better. So many action based games now.
Vindictus, Dragon Nest, Dynasty Warriors, Divine Souls. Gonna play them all!

I like playing as the guys or gals with ridiculous size weapons, the range means you can AoE DPS like a *****.
But I do question making an MMO of game where you only press 2 buttons.
