I've never played Guild Wars.

*GASP!*

And with number deuce on the horizon, I am interested in experiencing this game.

But the game with three of the four expansions is like 40 bucks and I just don't have it right now.

I'm a PVP guy, PVE is useless to me. Its sort of like the single player on FPS with no story, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Does the trial let me play PVP? Is the PVP even fun?

You can still pvp with a pve character...
PvP Character gives you default pvp armor and your stuck at arena's, but at least with PvE char you can hunt for better gear and so on.

In the trial you can't make a PvP character, I /think/ you can PvP in PvE though.

You should just buy the game, the trilogy is about 20 bucks, very good deal. :3
