Where the **** is the point in putting a cash shop in a p2p game?! I mean honestly as if $15.00 from say even 4000 players isn't enough wtf will be enough, lets do the math -.- 15.00x4000 is 60k so wtf, if you can't do shit with 60k you have some ****edddd up reasoning to deal with. I am gonna bet in the first week of release there will be at least 60k+ subscribers which all comes out to $900,000
So in order to fix that up a lot they're gonna need to have their subscriptions at like $5.00 cause with a cash shop on top of that it'll be enough to keep the game around long enough for the CEO's to get a few lambos during it's time running...

A game costs MILLIONS to make.
Not only do they have to make that back, but there is also Server costs, staff, and advertising to pay for.
I really doubt their cash shop will be something that will dramatically effect game play, as i said recently. Its for fluff, stuff like new outfits, pets, etc..
There isnt going to be a Sword of pwnage that gives u 100% exp and over 9000 potions.

Really depends on what kind of items there will be inside that shop, atleast for me. Everquest 2 have had this kind of system for quite a long time and it works, all it offers are some potions, cosmetic items and housing stuff. If it follows a model like that I have no problem at all with it.
If you can however buy a weapon that tops anything you could obtain by hard work ingame, then this game goes straight down the trashcan.
Dosn't really matter to me if I can afford it, I do have a job and earn my fair share of money, but im not going to spend them on a game that is already charging me a monthly fee to be able to log on the game.

Not all games with cashshop are pay 2 win. Guild Wars has a cashshop and its only filled with costumes, extra storage, name change, makeovers, and skill unlocks. None of these contributed to advantage over other players. Without buying skill unlocks, you can still unlock those skills ingame.
Guild Wars is not even f2p and its cashshop isn't overpowering. People need to stop jumping to conclusion about cashshops. Not all cashshops give an extreme advantage over other players. Usually P2P or B2P games are very fair with their cashshops.
