It was just a matter of time so I can't say I'm surprised. I have a big bush of it in my ethno garden, so I don't care about what happens to it with the law in NY.

Many shops that sell it are selling it to people who really shouldn't have it. Its a very powerful psychedelic, and shouldn't just be something people play around with for fun.

I really believe its a powerful learning tool. I believe in the expansion of mind through entheogens. When these things spread to the mainstream...kids abusing them, shops labeling them as marijuana substitutes, etc...its no surprise.

Personally, I'm kinda glad they are outlawing it in many states. It'll keep it out of the hands of people who really shouldn't be using them anyway.

Actually, a lot of the time they label various JWH (a synthetic cannabinoid) smoking blends as salvia. So lots of times, the "salvia" people are smoking are actually JWH mixtures. Salvia doesn't make you laugh or enjoy your surroundings or socialize. It blasts you into another universe, usually a terrible one.

We can't talk about personal experiences here, so I won't...but, tl;dr - good IMO. Hopefully they make HBWR seeds or morning glory seeds illegal too. That shit can really scare people away from some beautiful experiences.

Some things you just don't know anything about until you have experienced them.

A virgin wouldn't claim to be an expert regarding sex, would he? Really, you can't have an opinion on something you know nothing about. And like sex, some things can't be truly learnt until you've experienced it. I don't care if you've watched porn all day for the past 10 years; a virgins opinion still doesn't count for shit.

You see the logic in that right? Everyone here is smart enough to realize the whole sex and virgin thing is an anology for drugs and straight-as-an-arrow anti-drug watchdogs always on their moral highroad.

Just because people see something is labeled as an illegal substence they get panicky and stupid. Over the top really. Alot of prescription drugs are 100x worse then these illegal substences, but because a bunch of idiots label something 'illegal' it suddenly becomes the worst thing around.
