Display properties... /suicide

Hey guys!

So, my display properties menu hasn't worked for months and I never needed access to it until yesterday... My computer's resolution automaticly changed to 1024x768 somehow and now I can't get it back to 1200 x 768 ...

Anyway, does anyone know how I can access my display properties menu again? It just doesn't load whenever I click the icon.


PS: I have Windows Vista, I don't have the cd anymore.

PPS: My monitor is an Acer x223w.

PPPS: NO, I don't have any viruses. I triple-checked it before posting.

PPPPS: I have already tried System File Checker and it didn't work :3

right click desktop

goto display

set resolution

open up your graphics driver menu, ATI/NVIDIA usually have control panels.

push START button on your hotbar down there V . and goto your control panel then goto display.

Do you seriously think I am that stupid?

Pressing the display properties icon just doesn't do anything. I can't press the 'theme' icon either. They seem... disabled or something.

I am not going to pirate it and this computer is screwed. I doubt installing W7 is going to fix all my issues with viruses, malware, being slow etc... >_>

Lol. you should be able to right click and go to the catalyst control center or nvidia panel. If that doesnt work and going into your regular control panel and doing it from there doesnt work, reformat after you save important files to a thumb drive.


and what the hell is so wrong about pirating windows 7? you mean you want to support microshit?


edit: we all know we would be on macs if gaming was not so centered around windows
