This might seem as old news to some (the news was dated 3/8/2010) but I think there might be some people who wouldn't stalk the forums and genuinely curious about this game that never reached open beta.

Development of Dance Groove Online has ended so Outspark will be suspending the game service as of today. Although we cannot change DGO's discontinued status, we'd like to help encourage your progress in Fiesta, a popular title from Outspark. All previous DGO players will receive an email from Outspark with an in-game bonus for Fiesta.Thanks for you support of DGO. We look forward to your continued play in other Outspark games.

I never managed to participate in the closed beta, but by the mere screenshots and review I was anticipating open beta. The concept of a dance MMO and, given the mechanics already involved in closed beta, seemed an interesting prospect compared to generic monster-bashing/PvPing RPGs. No other site thought that this news was worth their while, either, but if only~
