I can't imagine this thing lasting long since the vast majority of the assets are even ripped straight from Minecraft and the news updates reference interchangeability with Minecraft several times (ex: "In mine mode, Minecraft password can be saved for easy connecting").

If Minecraft was completely free this would likely just be a weird rip-off/mod that would simply be ignored until it died, but since Minecraft is eventually going to be purchasable with limited access for free accounts than I can see this guy getting sued for more than a few copyright infringements or at the very least forced to shut it down.

but that dude can go screw his game alrdy cuz everyone can see this is a Minecraft clone , and most people do have alot of respect for Notch for doing this all by himself..

Even if this version is less laggy and more features i stay with minecraft , cause at the end .. it will pwn every other game ^^
