Thinking about upgrading
Right now what i have is
Intel Pentium CPU 3.2 ghz(2 cpus)
2994 ram(running XP I have 4 gigs in though)
Nvidia Geforce 9800GT 512 mb
Am i missing anything? If not what should i upgrade first. I wanna try to get FFXIV to run decently on my computer.
I was thinking about getting windows 7 so that i can use the full 4 gb ram. But idk I'm not exactly a comp wiz

New CPU and win7 64bit. 32bit is capped at 3.2gb usable ram.
The CPU will require a new motherboard unless you want to throw money away.
There is a new series of graphics cards coming out end this year/begin next year so you might want to wait rather than upgrade it now.
Soo... budget and are you able to put a PC together by yourself?

not too sure about a budget. And I'm not able to put a computer together myself but my father can. So he'll do it hehe.
