Ati hd 5770

So, Im running with a Nvidia 7900GS atm since my 8800gts burnt out and Since dad was getting paid soon he decided to get me a better card

It was bewteen the GeForce GTX 260 or ATI HD 5770

Looked up a bunch of pro's and con's on them both and to me.. they're about the same thing except 5770 has DX11 and has abit more room to over clock and both my dad and bro have the 260 so i went with the 5770

Was this a bad choice? Can anyone list any other comparisons?

Before deciding on the card, you should actually think about if it even fits in your case. People seem to make stupid mistakes that can be avoided if they checked the size of the card and their case before buying it. Believe me on this one. A HD5770 won't fit in a normal case and I don't know about mid towers.
