Reputation: 733If the encoding won't be completely different, the marketing done well and $ony/M$ didn't make all the console games exclusive to their consoles, this could be a competitor.

Reputation: 10Unless they are back up by a huge reputable organizations, they most likely won't survive for such a project. Then again, they got quite a bit of game developers behind them.
