Final Fantasy XIV Payment methods.
Yo Onrpg'ers.
I have (Probably like alot of you) no doubt on my mind that i'm going to buy Final Fantasy XIV, however there's one tiny little problem.
I do not have a credit card (And don't want one), and i've been hearing that the only payment methods for Final Fantasy XI were credit cards.
So my question to you, what can Onrpg tell me about the Final Fantasy payment methods? If it's credit card only my heart will be broken

Knowning that its SE there probably wont be prepaid card and only credit card option~
And with 100 dollars you can get a debt card or aka atm card which works the same way and only use what you have in the bank~
You wont get far in life if you never get one!
You need that credit for stuff later!
Also most banks around the world would do a prepaid credit card now and days~
Give parents like 50 bucks and tell them to get you a prepaid CREDIT CARD from the bank

They will add Payment Option>S<. to the account management System.
I bet Paypal and other stuff will be available too.

They are also doing a Crystal Method which is new i think..., from this it might be prepaid cards for "Crystals" And with that you can pay for service~

Why do I say this? 100 Crysta= 1.00...
This makes no sense since it seems like you can buy "X" amount of Crysta. Payment plan..no, Possible cash shop...very likely. To me it looks like Security Tokens, Contents and other things will be purchased from a "Cash Shop" with crysta. All in all I'm sure crysta will require a credit card and will most likely accept paypal. Maybe I can get some hint from my inside source.
I'll let you guys know if I find anything out.

u think 3vcash would work for something like this?(a online obtainable visa key) i seen a post about someone having issues with ffxi with it but no confirmation if it works yet anywere.

Debit card all the way! I can't imagine not having one lol.
The only thing with paypal is they have to verify your bank which is kind of annoying. Adding debit cards is pretty quick though.
I like the idea of Crysta, I can now obtain FF currency!

The store in belgium where i ordered my game has FFXIV Prepaid gamecards in their catalog to be released the same day as FFXIV hits the market.
So i'm guessing, that yes, there will be prepaid gamecards.

Iv been using paypal for years :P
They charge you % depending on how much money they transfer from your bank, (usually 1-2.9%)
They also charge you if you have different currency, they also charge you if you get money from other ppl. they take a cut from the transaction.

It's probably your bank good sir, because I transfer money between friends as well as my girlfriend for the past 4 years now, and never was charged a single dime, as well as making transfers from paypal to my bank account.
But using Paypal for payments on subs is inconvienent, because depending on your bank you won't be active for a few hours to a couple days. Debit all the way.
