Default For people who want to use PS3 controller on PC

Ive been reading a few people wanna use their ps3 controllers for FF14.. and people have been unsuccseful..

Whatever.. anyway.. what you wanna do is download MotionJoy first, install it... all that mumbojumbo...

insert the controller... restart the computer...

and keep pressing F8 as it turns on so it takes you to this menu.. and at the bottom of the menu there should be an option "Disable Signature Enforcment" or something like that... click on that... and wala! you can use your ps3 controller... ..keep in mind you will have to keep doing the F8 thing.

Also.. don't unplug the controller while the PC is on.. I got bluescreen from doing so

I have my laptop set to test mode so that UAC is permanantly turned off. Also that seems to be an isolated incident with you, I can unplug my ps3 controller whenever without a bsod.

Ditto, I've been using MIJ for over a year now and never had that problem.

The ability to use the PS3 controller wired & wireless (via bluetooth) has been around for a long time. I use it wireless for romplay and a couple of assorted games.

Using PS3 controller imo is the best way to play if you are gonna use any remote. Over the 360 remote. I like how response is from the sticks and configurable deadzones.

There is also a dll pack that lets you use any remote (including PS3) as game for windows (360) remote. Some of these games default to one remote set and won't respond to others. The dll pack kind of changes that.

    All available via google
